01-06-2024 Deacons Update for 2024

Marlon, JR, Vic, Jay, and Randy: 

Gentlemen.  I continue to pray for all of you.  I want to thank you for sharing the load of ministry for 2023.  

Marlon, Uncle Vic, and I had a preliminary consultation regarding 2024.  We feel some changes nee dto happen because we want to get better this year as a church.  You know what they say, "If you won't change, nothing will change."  We discuss in length the Filam Strategy.  Please study them.   Here are a few changes I want us to be praying for.   

1. The first change is to follow up and elevate your training and discipleship as deacons.  In other words, I want to know what changes you can commit to for 2024 to make the Deacon Ministry productive. 
2. The second suggestion is to include Ferdinand "Page" Ayalde in our team.  It means the deacons have to agree on this move and follow the process accordingly   It further means, we will not just be deacons and pastors but as a collective group, we will be viewed as "shepherds."  It means, auditing Page and making sure that what we aim for him to do, he is equipped to do.     
3. The third is to facilitate the deacon family ministry.    That means we continue the deacon family ministry by assigning families to each deacon and pastor.   
4. Lastly, to share the teaching and preaching ministry.  It means, to get us better at teaching and to train you all to get ready for pulpit preaching.
